Which vinyl flooring accessories will I need?
Firstly, you will need an underlay if you decide to float your floor. LVT flooring can be floated over a specially designed underlay which is thin enough to go between the vinyl tile and your existing floor. If you are using underfloor heating, make sure you select the correct underlay, which allows sufficient transfer of heat.
Next you may need some fitting tools and equipment to help you with the installation. Tools like knives and blades, and equipment like glue and trowels may be needed depending upon the type of LVT you choose and how you decide to fit it.
To add the finishing touches to your new floor, you may want to use matching skirting, door profiles which cover the gaps between doorways, and even radiator pipe covers. If you are fitting LVT on your staircase you may want to have a look at the stair profile corner, which helps to install the flooring on each step.
Finally, you will want to keep your new floor looking clean and fresh. We have a range of great cleaning products that are perfect for Luxury Vinyl Tiles. We would recommend using the Quick-Step Cleaning Spray Mop. It has a removable (machine washable) cleaning pad and a trigger spray handle for ease of use.
