Can I get matching wooden flooring accessories?

Yes, you can get matching wooden flooring accessories to complement your décor and add the finishing touches to your room. They will help to cover over the expansion gaps that need to be left during the installation process. We have a wide range of wooden flooring accessories, ranging from solid oak trims, MDF beading and aluminum door bars. If you have an Oak floor then you will probably want to have matching Oak accessories. However, if you have a colour stained floor then you might want to go for the closest match in MDF or aluminium. What matching accessories can I get?

The obvious flooring accessories are either beading or skirting. These will help to cover the gaps around the perimeter of your room. We also have pipe covers to conceal the gaps left around radiator or other pipes that may come out through the floor. Then we have a variety of door bars. Which one you need will depend on the type of flooring you have on either side of the door. Why do I need them?

Wooden flooring accessories are an essential part of fitting your floor. As you are laying the planks of flooring you will need to leave an expansion gap around the edge of the room. This is to allow your wooden floor room to move as it adapts to changes in temperature and humidity. It is a completely natural process and nothing to worry about. However, it does mean that you will have a gap around the edge of your room, in doorways, against fireplaces and around any pipes. You obviously won’t want these gaps to be left visible so you can cover the over with wooden flooring accessories.
